Growing Information

Sow thinly direct into finely raked, moist, warm weed-free soil at a depth of 13mm (½"). Germination 15-20 days. Allow 30cm (12") between rows or scatter across raised beds. Thin gradually to a final spacing of 5-7.5cm (2-3") between plants. Pull small for salad use. Sow under cloches for early roots. Carrots grow best in a sunny position in well-cultivated soil which has not recently been manured. Sowing to Cropping: 12-16 weeks.
