A clubroot resistant variety. Compact heads with heavily crinkled leaves. Great flavour. A really popular variety.
Planting and sowing instructions
Sow autumn cabbage seeds indoors from March to May, or outdoors at a depth of 13mm and 30 cm between rows, into a well prepared seedbed for transplanting later on. Indoors in trays of free draining soil with a 6mm layer of compost until germination, which takes around seven days. Transplant seeds when they are large enough to handle. Gradually acclimatise them to outdoors over a seven day period. Allow 50cm between plants, plant firmly and water well. Cover with protective netting or fleece. Place a collar around the stem to deter cabbage root fly. Water in well.
