Planting and sowing instructions
Sow indoors from April to May for transplanting later on. Sow the seeds on their sides in 7.5cm pots at a depth of 2.5cm. Place in a propagator or sealed pots inside a plastic bag until germination, which takes about 7 days. Light helps germination. Once germinated grow on in cooler conditions until they large enough to be transplanted outside. Acclimatise to outdoors over a 10 day period. Plant in warm well drained soil, in full sunlight. Or direct sow outdoors from about May, 2.5cm deep, and 2m apart. Sow two per station and thin out the weakest.
