Purple top variety with white base. Giving a sweet taste when cooked.
Planting and sowing instructions
Turnips grow best in rich soil but will grow on ordinary soil if some good compost is added. Sow in succession from spring to the middle of summer 1cm deep in drills 30cm apart. Thin out to 15cm apart.
