Traditional Homemade Jams Chutneys and Marmalades

In this mass produced, click and collect world, it is so good to get back to how things used to be. Remember real homemade jam. I mean real homemade. Many make this claim, but are not really homemade. We are very happy to now offer jams, marmalades and chutneys that are made using traditional batches of 4-8 jars. This ensures freshnes. If run of the mill, large, mass produced produce is what you are looking for, then these products probably are not for you. If, however you want small scale, high taste, then please give these a try. We now have over sixty varieties to whet your appetite. Lets take a look at three and give you some further information. Our “Preserve of the Week” is Blackberry and Bourbon Jam, fruity with a kick of bourbon warmth. This jam is at home on scones or toast. A true winner on rice pudding.

From the large selection of marmalades, we chose the lovely Four Fruit Marmalade. Lemon, grapefruit, Lime and Orange. A tasty breakfast treat. Heaven used in bread and butter pudding.

Now to my most favourite treat. Chutneys. When I saw the selection, I was amazed and my tastebuds were doing cartwheels. But I calmed down, and have picked Beetroot Chutney. With orange and ginger, this is really a tasty treat. On crusty bread, good crackers or droped on a fine cut salad. Really a must try.

If you wanted to hot things up then try the chillililli. Strong and tangy relish with a develish chilli kick! Pack on crackers, or in pitta breads. Great on a nan bread.

That is my initial choice, but please take a look and decide for yourself. Let me know what you chose and what you ate with it. You may win a jar of jam. These make fine gifts. Better still tasty treats for just you!

Please take a look at the selection here.

I hope you really enjoy trying them.
